General introduction of Lead smelting Short Rotary furnace
Our lead smelting Rotary furnace is designed for treatment and recovery of Lead from Lead Acid Batteries Scrap and for the reduction of Lead Sulphate, Lead Oxides, Lead Concentrates, Lead Dross and Lead Ore.
Lead smelting Rotary Furnace will work at temperature of about 1000-1200 OC. The Inside Temperature Indicator is provided on the electric control panel and the Thermo couple probe at exhaust duct of the Rotary Furnace for controlling & maintaining temperature in the furnace.

Air pollution control system
Apart from plates and paste of lead oxide from scrap lead acid battery, slag from mini blast furnace are charged in the rotary furnace. In addition to these, certain compounds of sulphur are also present in the batteries. When this material is heated in the presence of carbon, lead oxide is converted into lead. This conversion along with burning of fuel generates flue gases and flumes containing dust, dirt, oxides of lead, lead particles and such other impurities.
Hence, to meet various goals of maintaining employees’ health and factory environments as well as regulatory requirement, it becomes imperative to get HIGH END AIR Pollution Contril Systems to be installed with Rotary Furnace.
