Why System-Level Design Matters

A common mistake in recycling plant planning is treating equipment procurement as a collection of individual purchases. In reality, the profitability of your operation depends on how seamlessly each stage—from shredding and separation to smelting and refining—works together.

For example, a lead acid battery recycling equipment line must efficiently break and separate batteries into lead paste, lead grids, plastic shells, and acid. Downstream, rotary furnaces or blast furnaces reduce the lead paste to crude metallic lead, which is then refined to 99.999% purity in a lead refinery kettle. Each stage must be matched in capacity, material flow, and environmental compliance. A mismatch in throughput between your breaking system and your smelting furnace will create costly bottlenecks.

Lead Acid Battery Recycling

The system breaks and separates used lead acid batteries (ULAB) into four products: lead grid, lead paste, PVC/PP plastic, and hard rubber. Optional add-ons include de-sulfurization units to reduce melting temperature and SO₂ emissions, filter presses for paste collection, water treatment plants for acidic wastewater, and air pollution control systems that meet strict environmental requirements.

Lithium Battery Recycling

With the surge in electric vehicles and consumer electronics, lithium-ion battery waste is skyrocketing. Our lithium battery recycling plant processes 500 to 2,500 kg per hour, separating black mass (containing nickel, cobalt, and graphite), plastic film, copper, and aluminum. Integrated air pollution control systems neutralize harmful gases, while hydraulic briquetters compress plastic separator film into blocks with a 10:1 volume reduction ratio.

Circuit Board Recycling

Printed circuit boards (PCBs) contain copper, precious metals, and rare earth elements. We offer both dry and wet separation circuit board recycling equipment with capacities ranging from 300 to 2,000 kg per hour. Our air separation plants achieve copper powder purity of 96–98% with recovery rates up to 95%, while wet separation systems can even process PCB waste with components still attached.

Cable Recycling

Scrap cable is one of the most accessible and profitable recycling streams. Our cable recycling machine lineup includes scrap cable strippers for cables from 1.5 mm to 150 mm in diameter, as well as compact and industrial cable granulators with dry separators that produce clean copper and aluminum granules ready for smelting.
