Lead-acid batteries continue to dominate automotive, industrial, and backup-power markets. Because lead is infinitely recyclable and the chemistry is well understood, a properly equipped lead-acid battery recycling plant can deliver consistent margins.

San Lan's lead acid battery recycling equipment breaks and separates used batteries at capacities from 1 to 10 MT per hour, producing four clean fractions: lead paste, lead grids, plastic (PVC/PP), and hard rubber. The downstream smelting line includes de-sulfurization units, rotary furnaces with 2–20 MT per batch capacity, blast furnaces rated at 40–100 MT per 24 hours, and refinery kettles that refine crude lead to 99.999% purity. Integrated air-pollution-control and water-treatment systems keep emissions within regulatory limits.

Plastic film can be compacted via an optional hydraulic briquetter with a 10:1 volume-reduction ratio.

Cable and Circuit Board Recycling: Urban Mining Made Efficient

Scrap copper and aluminum cable, along with waste printed circuit boards, contain metal concentrations that often exceed natural ore grades. Recovering these metals efficiently demands equipment that balances high throughput with clean separation.

Our cable recycling equipment ranges from compact scrap cable strippers (handling diameters from 1.5 mm to 150 mm) to high-throughput cable granulators with dry or wet separators. For circuit boards, we supply both air-separation and wet-separation plants with capacities from 300 kg/hour to 2,000 kg/hour, achieving copper powder purity of 96–98% and overall recovery rates near 95%. Dust is captured by cyclone and pulse-bag collectors, keeping the workplace clean and safe.
